Who glazed with crystal gate the glowing roses"They don't seem to have any idea that there is such a thing as a clock," said Gilbert. "I can't get to the bottom of that affair. I'm certain you women pulled strings. But Anne, undutiful wife, won't tell me. Will you, Miss Cornelia?"
I think we could all do with a tropical island escape right about now, but there's a slim chance of that happening anytime soon. And so we turn to the world of video games to deliver such escapist fantasies, and one title that might do the trick is Zynga's FarmVille 2: Tropic Escape.

To celebrate Earth Day, a new in-game event has been launched that revolves around a capsized oil tanker and thousands of gallons of spilt crude oil. Poor Caspian the merman very much needs your help, as this is beyond anything his people can or have ever handled.

It goes without saying that an oil spill of this scale poses a dreadful risk to the marine ecosystem, and so alongside lovable otter Bubba, you'll work to clean up the giant mess left behind in the wake of the accident. You have until April 28th to get involved.

On top of that, Zynga has turned Mondays into 'Fundays!' this month in aid of the popular #PlayApartTogether initiative. On April 27th, you can get 20 extra social fertiliser with an in-game purchase, allowing you to improve your tropical paradise and show your neighbours some love.

"The Tropic Escape team is always looking for ways to keep our players entertained with fun, new events that cover a variety of exciting and interesting themes. Sometimes, real-world events and issues spill into the game, and this time, we're highlighting Earth Day!" said Zynga GM, Arpith Kanade". We picked this special day to underscore the fact that we're all in this together on this beautiful planet. With teamwork and by celebrating a sense of community, we can achieve anything".

If you're looking for some casual, laidback farming fun, you'll find FarmVille 2: Tropic Escape available for download now as a free-to-play title from over on the App Store and Google Play.
In need of some quality puzzlers to keep you busy?
HTC had quite an MWC this year with two big reveals.

First off is the expected first look at the HTC One M9 smartphone. It'll be heading to Taiwan and Europe in mid-March. The US will get it by the end of the month.

There are no pricing details yet, unfortunately.

The M9 is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor. It has 3GB of RAM, comes with 32GB of internal storage, and has improved Wi-Fi over the M8 due to supporting Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 4.1.

The UltraPixel camera that was on the back of the HTC One M8, it has now gone. Instead, there's a dual 4MP UltraPixel camera on the front.

The M9 runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop as expected. It also has its own Sense 7.0 UI interface over the top.
VR Revival
HTC's other big announcement at MWC is the HTC Re Vive for PC. While this doesn't pertain to mobile gaming as such, it's still big news for one of its prominent hardware companies.

That's on account of HTC's entry into virtual reality headsets is powered by SteamVR. Yep, this is Valve's VR headset as well.

It has a 1200x1080 pixel screen for each eye and runs at 90 frames per second.

Companies working on games for the Re Vive include Cloudhead Games with The Gallery, Owlchemy Labs with Job Simulator, Dovetail Games, and The Room creator Fireproof Games.

You can find out more about the HTC Re Vive on its website.
TechRadarfrancoiscourson-art.com
There are mere hours between now and the weekend and, for many of us, that comes with the age-old question of "how am I going to spend my time?" With games like Diablo III, LEGO Harry Potter, and Taiko no Tatsujin on the cards, I think gaming is a big possibility.

I mean, I know I've got work to do, a house to clean, and I should also get outside for a little bit, but between an amazing list of games and continuing my dive into the world of Red Dead Redemption 2 it's making it hard to think about. But I'll be good, I swear. Maybe. Possibly... I'll try my best.
"Well, I wish you all manner of happiness too, Miss Cornelia," said Gilbert, solemnly; "but," he added, unable to resist the temptation to tease Miss Cornelia, despite Anne's imploring eyes, "I fear your day of independence is done. As you know, Marshall Elliott is a very determined man."

After the explosive ending of season 9, which culminated in an event that saw a huge robot facing off with a kaiju-like being, Fortnite has hit its tenth season. To celebrate it looks like we'll be revisiting old locations from its two-year history, as well as getting some new toys to play with.

The battle between the two behemoths left behind a ball of energy known as the Zero Point. This is where the time travel comes into it, as it explodes, bringing about the return of Dusty Depot. Dusty Depot might sound familiar to some of you, that's because it was a regular feature in the game right up until its destruction by meteor strike in season 4. That meteor now hovers just above it in stasis, and is now explorable.

Epic has said that other old locales will be coming back but not exactly how you remember them. A few of these places are teased in the story trailer below. The return of old areas is linked to 'Rift Zones' scattered across the map. You can expect these to constantly change throughout the season to keep the map feeling fresh.
Especially if you are a girl or want to cherish life from a girl’s perspective, then everything is o cause we are here to serve almost all aspects of living the most enticing lifestyle with all the luxury at your hand.

It's taken a couple of years but the farm-tastic management game Blocky Farm will be arriving on iOS later this week.

Days ahead of its planned launch on September 19th, Apple Arcade – the tech behemoth’s gaming subscription service – is now available to iOS 13 public beta testers. As first reported by MacRumours, the service seems to be rolling out slowly to a currently unknown number of lucky players.
Hey yo. We worked very hard for the past four years on Sayonara Wild Hearts, and had no idea about the Apple Arcade beta-stuff that is currently happening, so please do us a favour and don't spoil the game for people who can't play it yet. Thank you! <3— Simogo (@simogo) September 16, 2019It sounds like developers were not made aware that their games would release early. This is an especially big issue for, say, Sayonara Wild Hearts, whose mobile launch was originally set for September 19th – the same day as its PS4 and Switch launch. As Simogo says in the tweet above, there’s now a concern that spoilers will spread ahead of the game's intended release.

There are currently over 50 games available to those who have access to the beta and opt to subscribe to Apple Arcade. The $4.99-a-month service is set to release new games on a weekly basis, and I reckon 50+ is more than enough to get things going.

Some of the launch games include Exit the Gungeon, Rayman Mini, LEGO Brawls, Hot Lava, and Frogger in Toy Town. Here’s a full list of all the early games coming to Apple Arcade. If you’re happy to wait, iOS 13 and Apple Arcade are still set to launch this Thursday, September 19th. But if you simply can’t wait, here’s the link to sign up for the iOS 13 beta programme.
Check out our news section to discover the latest, and greatest, games.
